Food is great, service the same. Have returned numerous times. Favorites: Chicken and peas Curry chicken Pa Tai
Our regular Thai place at the Landing was temporary closed, so we found this place near us and decided to try it. No regrets! The decor was clean and nice, the service was prompt and the food was great! The only downside was the parking situation wasn't terrific, but we managed. I'd definitely go back.
This was medium spicy on the menu, which was still mild for my tastebuds. Always try to get some Thai Curry when I'm away for work training and this did not disappoint.
Update: Within a month, we went back to this restaurant three times. The food was still amazing, and we ordered the same dishes both times. Our favorites are the Rad Na Noodle (Pork) and Sing Tong Fried Rice. Today, we tried the Pad Cha Seafood, and it was so flavorful, spicy, and authentically Thai. Service still remains friendly and professional, and the restaurant and the toilet are always clean.
My family and I came here for dinner last week as we had an out of town guest staying with us. This was my first time there, but my parents have been before. We walked in at around 7pm on a weeknight and were seated immediately despite how unexpectedly busy it was. They just got new menus and raised their prices. Dishes range anywhere from $15-$30 for an entree, but still competitively priced for the Eastside. We ordered the PAD PRIKH KING with beef, the YELLOW CURRY with fresh tofu, the PAD SEE EW with seafood, and the THAI BBQ CHICKEN. As most of the people in my party prefers mild spice, we opted for 2 stars for all dishes (which I thought was a little closer to 3 stars at your average Thai restaurant). We also ordered four sides of rice on the side (note that the curry does not come with rice, but the Thai BBQ chicken comes with sticky rice). Even though we had five people, four dishes was more than adequate as portion sizes are relatively large. Of the dishes we ordered, the PAD PRIKH KING was our least favorite as it was overly salty and oily. The beef and beans were fresh, but needed way less salt, oil, and spice. The YELLOW CURRY was decent. It was rich, creamy, and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. It came with potatoes, but I wished it had other vegetables in it like carrots. The PAD SEE EW (which is my favorite Thai dish in general) was excellent. They use fresh wide noodles and have a lots of vegetables including broccoli and carrots. The seafood was mostly just shrimp. It was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and was probably my favorite dish of the night. Lastly, the THAI BBQ CHICKEN was excellent. It was well-marinated in a sweet sauce and nicely grilled. It had pieces of crunchy garlic on top which went well with the caramelized meat and came with a side of sweetened fish sauce. The sticky rice was nice and soft and complimented the dish well. This was my second favorite dish of the night. Service was great. Our waiter was attentive and came by to refill our water several times. The atmosphere is modern and trendy but you can definitely just wear casual clothes here. The best part about this place (as someone who gets migraines) is that they don't use MSG in any of their food. Overall: 4/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 4/5 for atmosphere
